Perfectly proportioned for those under 5ft 3”, the Fitform 571 Vario Petite has identical features to its sister chair the Fitform 570 Vario.

Underpinned by the knowledge that a correctly proportioned chair can have exceptionally positive effects on the well being of an individual, the Fitform Petite ensures that smaller individuals can achieve a healthy sitting posture too.

Whilst seated the body has a tendency to abandon its natural posture, the S-shape. The pelvis tilts backwards and the spinal column will adopt a convex, rounded shape, the C-shape, particularly in the lower back.  The resulting affect is increased pressure on the intervertebral discs, stimulating and stretching the rear fibres of the discs just in front of the spinal cord and often an aching lower back.   However, the Fitform range of chairs ensures that the body adopts the most natural posture, preventing sinking into a convex back.

The Fitform Petite is a made-to-measure armchair that will provide a correct sitting height, sitting depth and armrest height combined with a correct seat width and lumbar support specifically tailored for each individual.

The range of smooth and flexible adjustments ensures superb comfort when sitting and facilitates an effortless standing action!  All the electrically powered functions, the “stand-up” powerlift, tilt-in-space movement, back recline and legrest elevation can be adjusted independently enabling a variety of positions to be achieved ensuring the most appropriate, comfortable seating position.

Body posture is maintained throughout the range of tilt-in-space adjustment, the backrest and the seat are tilted backwards in unison without any change to the seat angle ensuring support and stability in the pelvis and an even balance of weight and pressure distribution.
